The 2025 Met Gala celebrate brought high fashion and cultural storytelling to the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5, as celebrities showcased their interpretations of this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
The exhibit and theme explore Black dandyism and its role in shaping Black identities across the Atlantic diaspora.
This year’s dress code, “Tailored for You,” encouraged guests to lean into custom suiting and structured silhouettes, nodding to the enduring legacy of menswear in Black fashion.
